Little Leena is just 9-months-old. From when he was just 2 months old, he has been struggling to survive a liver disease. He is in a lot of pain but his poor parents are unable to find a way to save him.

Leena was a very happy kid. He spent two months of his life with his parents and three siblings. Except for a mild fever and cold, Leena was healthy until his mother noticed that his eyes had turned yellow. When they rushed him to the hospital, Leena was diagnosed with Jaundice. For the past 6 months, he was treated for jaundice while actually, he was silently suffering from liver cirrhosis.

Leena’s siblings have no idea why their baby brother’s stomach is so bloated all the time
Leena has become very cranky recently. His stomach is always bloated, and he rarely feels like eating anything. His whole body has turned yellow. He suffers while passing urine. The only way Leena can be saved from this unbearable pain is a Liver Transplant Surgery.

Sukhdev and his wife have no option left but to leave their little kids with the shop owner every time they have to bring Leena to hospital. They are too young to understand that their baby brother is fighting a deadly disease. They just wonder why Leena’s stomach is bloating so much and why he cries all the time.
“My baby can’t even express the insufferable pain he is going through. He just holds me and cries all day. I don’t know how to help him out. It is heartbreaking when he starts weeping while I try to feed him.”

Sukhdev has no idea how to arrange funds for his baby’s treatment
Leena’s father Sukhdev works in a hardware shop with a monthly income of Rs. 6000, He is the only breadwinner of the family. His father passed away last year and he has to take care of his mother and brother who lives in a small village in Rajasthan.

They have spent around Rs. 80,000 for treatment till now. His savings is totally exhausted. His boss has promised to give him a loan of Rs.1 lakh but Sukhdev has to arrange for Rs. 12.5lakhs to save his son. Sukhdev is a perfect match for a liver donor but it’s of no use if he cannot arrange for the surgery.
“I have approached my relatives but everyone turned me down saying they are in no condition to help me."
