Vivek, son of Jairam, was diagnosed with bone cancer in March last year. The family was devastated with the news but they never gave up and fought hard for months.
Since the diagnosis, Vivek couldn’t continue school. He had stayed mostly in the hospital, on the bed. Just when they thought their struggle was finally over and Vivek had recovered, his cancer came back again within two months of the treatment.
Vivek (17) needs chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant to fight blood cancer. The treatment will cost 18 lakhs. Jairam spent around 15 lakhs on his son’s treatment the last time by selling his house, gold and taking loans. He does not have the strength to bear the cost of treatment again, he is desperately in need of help.
