8-Year-Old Cancer Patient’s Organs Are Shutting Down Due To Fatal Infection

The ruthlessly spreading infection in Shravani’s body has already affected her liver and kidneys. Shravani is not just fighting a dangerous infection but also was diagnosed with blood cancer about a month ago. However, unless she is out of the current danger, she can’t be treated for cancer that is slowly but steadily affecting her immune system.

Her fight with cancer had just begun when an equally fatal disease affected her

“She needed to start the chemotherapy immediately. I didn’t waste a single moment and brought her from Nanded to Hyderabad. Her chemo had just begun when the blood infection started. Now, her condition is only getting worse.  Her liver and kidneys are also affected,” - Shivkanth (father).

Shravani needs to be sedated because she is in so much pain

“When I see my daughter with tubes in her mouth and all around her I can’t believe it’s the same girl who would not sit still for a single minute. She was in so much pain that she started pulling the pipes - they had no choice but to sedate her. Now she hardly opens her eyes, when she does, I see tears rolling down ,” - Savita (mother).

Shravani has a bigger battle to fight - she needs your help

Shravani has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia - a type of blood cancer that affects the white blood cells. However, her cancer is in the first stage, she has high chances of recovery through regular chemotherapy. Her farmer father has spent over 6 lakhs, out of which only 1 lakh was his savings. The rest is all borrowed. With no rain in the last one year, Shivkanth has had no income - he doesn’t know how he will repay debts. He needs 8 lakhs more to save his daughter.

Shravani is writhing in pain and her organs are shutting down. A small contribution from your side will go a long way
