How Can We Celebrate The Birth Of Our Second Child When Our First Child Is Fighting Death?

“His stomach is getting bigger day by day. He feels hungry but then he is unable to eat due to pain. He cries a lot holding his stomach. He asks me to do something but...I can’t watch my child like this.”- Narsimhalu, father

It’s been 24 hours since Sasivardan has eaten any food. Narsimhalu cannot see his son suffering like this and hasn’t eaten either.

I'm torn between my two children...

Shrilata gave birth to a baby recently. Narasimhulu and Shrilata were happy but suddenly their other child got sick and it is not an ordinary disease, the disease can take their child’s life away. It started with jaundice which did not subside.

“He was fine,he...he never had any illness or symptoms. I can’t understand how all of a sudden he became so weak.I can’t even be around him much as I have to take care of the little baby too. I feel so devastated."- Shrilata, mother

You can still see the yellow in his eyes

They took him to the city for treatment when local care was not enough and they found out Sashivardan's liver is failing and without treatment, he won’t be able to survive.

He is very close to his father and used to play around the house with him but now he can’t even move without pain. My husband is doing everything in his capacity to save our son. But what if he fails? I can't bear to think about it," - Shrilata.

I couldn’t even afford a train ticket how can I...

“We went to 3 hospitals to see if I can afford to save my son, but no use. Treatment would at least cost 18 lakhs.  I had to beg to afford a train ticket, 18 lakhs... I cannot.” - Narasimhulu

Narasimhulu is a daily wage labour and is not in a financial position to be able to afford a life-saving treatment. In the next two weeks, Sashivardan must have a liver transplant or he will not survive.

They will not be able to save their son without your help. Your little act of kindness can save this life.
