    This fundraiser will benefit

    Sashivardan

    from Hyderabad, Telangana

Narasimhulu is a daily wage labour. He had to beg and borrow to be able to afford a train ticket to take Sashivardan to hospital in the city. In the next two weeks, Sashivardan (3) must have a liver transplant or he will not survive.

“We went to 3 hospitals to see if any of them would reduce the cost of the treatment, but no use. Treatment would at least cost 18 lakhs.  I had to beg to afford a train ticket, 18 lakhs... I cannot.” - Narasimhulu

Should we cry for our first child or be happy that our second child is born?

A few days ago, Sashivardan suddenly lost appetite and was not eating at all. Soon he had jaundice which did not subside. Just before this happened, Narasimhulu and his wife, Shrilata, got to know that she was pregnant. They were happy that soon there will be a new member joining their family but suddenly their other child got sick and it was not an ordinary disease.

“I got very scared seeing my child. I couldn’t understand how all of a sudden he became so weak."- Shrilata, mother

You can still see the yellow in his eyes

They took him to the city for treatment when local care was not enough and found out Sashivardan's liver is failing.

His stomach hurts whenever he eats and he vomits soon after

His stomach is getting bigger day by day and it hurts whenever he has his food. Even if he does, soon he vomits it all.

“He feels hungry but then he is unable to eat due to pain. He cries a lot holding his stomach”- Shrilata

“He is very close to his father and use to play around the house with him but now he can’t even move without pain. My husband is doing everything in his capacity to save our son. But what if he fails? I can't bear to think about it," - Shrilata.

They will not be able to save their son without your help. Your little act of kindness can save this life.
