Majeda Sardar took a loan for a solar lantern for her husband. They live in the South 24 Parganas district in West Bengal where the power is erratic. Her husband is a tea vendor and runs his own tea-stall. Now, he is able to continue working even after dark when the power goes off. This means that his income increases, and he is able to serve many more customers.
