Noorunnisa’s two daughters are her world. Her days used to begin with getting them ready for school, and when the bustle quietened down, she would take a moment to thank God for another wonderful day with them. Noorunnisa worked as a domestic help, and with the meagre income she earned, she did everything she could to make sure they got an education. She worked hard with only one dream – for her children to have a better life than she did. However, Noorunnisa’s happy and content life changed when she was diagnosed with liver disease. Now, she can barely walk for long, let alone go for work. She’s 32-years-old and only 30 kgs, and her condition is only deteriorating due to her failing liver. She needs a liver transplant at the earliest to survive, else, her daughters will lose her forever.

Despite her grave diagnosis, Noorunnisa continued to work hard

Noorunnisa was diagnosed with chronic liver disease 4 years ago, but she didn’t let it stop her. She never missed a doctor’s appointment or her medication and continued to go for work. But for the past 7 months, she hasn’t been able to work. She and her daughters now live with her mother, Mehrunnisa, owing to her deteriorating health.
