She had a severe cold and breathing trouble

2 months ago Bavisri had a severe cold but not even in the wildest dream they thought that this would turn their life drastically. But in a few days, she had breathing trouble and she was rushed to the hospital. A series of tests were taken and she was referred to Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bangalore.

Bavisri’s parents did not give a second thought about moving to Bangalore from their hometown Salem. They were ready to do anything possible to give her a healthy life. Her father borrowed money to meet the expenses. After continuous tests and scans, they heard those dreaded words ‘she is diagnosed with cancer’.

“ I was literally shivering when I saw the cancer ward. I wanted to turn around and run right then. I can't bear  that my little one has to go through such terrible pain"

Bavisri showed signs of improvement. She has to undergo multiple cycles of chemotherapy but unfortunately, father is left with no money to continue the treatment.

“Despite the pain and trauma, she manages to have a smile. She is hopeful that she will be back home soon.I do not have the strength to say that I cannot afford for this crucial treatment”
