Kamadhenu Gowshala & Foundation was a privately run Gowshala for desi cows (Bos Indicus), with 375+ cows and calves.

After spending 4.5cr for establishing and maintaining the Gowshala, the founding family is bankrupt.

The Gowshala is spread over 3.5 acre land leased for 10 years, and is located at https://goo.gl/maps/P2UnU7i72Uf3o7Q2A in Hyderabad, Telangana. Registration ID is 5/BK-IV/2021 of Telangana State.

Founding family established Gowshala out of pure devotion to Gowmata.
Gowshala was established in September 2018, with an intention to maintain from their own internal financial resources,
However the past 12+ months because of bad business and covid the familys businesses are closed and left with no revenues to operate the Gowshala and it has taken a direct hit now in even sustaining its operations.

Monthly maintainance cost of the Gowshala is about 13.5 lakhs.

Breakup of maintainance cost:
 - 4.5 tons of green grass/day, 135 tons/month @3500/ton = 4.72 lac
 - Two lorry loads of dry grass/week, 8 loads/month @25000/load = 2.00 lac
 - 6 bags khalli(cotton seed cake)/day @1700/bag, 180 bags/month =3.06 lac
 - 3 bags chunni(lentil bran)/day @1200/bag, 90 bags/month = 1.08 lac
 - 3bags bhusa(wheat bran)/day @800/bag, 90 bags/month = 0.72 lac
 - 20 gowsevaks (staff) @12000/sevak = 2.40 lac
 - veterinary medicines, staff kitchen, power bills, etc = 1.00 lac

Total adds upto 14.98 lac which has been rounded down to 13.5 lacs.

With the help of a few good samaritans, the private Gowshala has been converted to a state registered trust, being audited, and planned to be run as a not for profit venture. Section 80(g) application process is underway with website and other basic requirements being worked upon.

This fund raise will help Gowshala will clear its accumulated debts towards cattle feed and grass suppliers also clear pending salaries dues, and survive for the next 2 months,
until the good samaritans get us set up for CSR and a few other self sustaining ideas operational. The founding family also plan to be back in their business, by year end and will be able to again take care of this Gowshala on their own.

we shall be happy to provide any other details as required.
