About Industree Mutually Beneficial Trust
Industree Crafts Foundation (ICF) is a fair-trade certified, social enterprise that connects artisans with the urban market. ICF has a network of thousands of artisans across India, to whom it provides end-to-end integration that includes: training, raw-material sourcing, product design, and marketing their products at fair-trade prices through 'Mother Earth', its chain of retail stores. Milaap provides women with loans to enroll for artisan training courses with any of ICF’s Self Help Group (SHGs). After their training, these women artisans can take Milaap loans to buy machinery and raw materials, and start making products. They can also avail of Milaap loans to scale up production.
