Madiwal Appa and Bhagamma are in urgent need of funds to get their 7-year-old son Praveen, undergo bone marrow transplant so that he can be saved from the fatal condition of aplastic anemia. Both the parents are farmers and they have put everything at stake, even mortgaged their ancestral land to save their son. They have already spent more than 6 lakhs on the treatment and require 30 lakh rupees to undergo the procedure. Praveen will undergo the transplant in the coming weeks which is why there is an urgent need for funds.

Madiwal Appa and Bhagamma hail from a remote village in Kalburgi district of Karnataka. They have been blessed with 3 lovely kids named as Prajwal (9 Years), Praveen (7 years), Sharnamma (5 years). They have lived simple yet fulfilling life in their village. They are not much aware of the outside world, however, were extremely content and satisfied with their life until July this year. In the first week of July Praveen started vomiting blood, which made both the parents extremely concerned. They immediately took the boy to Bangalore, where one of the hospitals did blood transfusions but was unable to diagnose the problem, the hospital authorities then referred Praveen's case to NH Health where Dr. Sunil Bhatt confirmed the diagnosis as aplastic anemia and suggested the only solution would be to undergo Bone Marrow Transplant.

Praveen is a joyful kid who also acts as a peacemaker when his other siblings Prajwal and Sharanamma get into a fight with each other, his favorite past time are playing with the swing at home and feeding cows. Bhagamma is unable to accept the fact that god has been unkind to such a lovely kid and made him suffer for such a life threatening disease. Both Parents don't even understand what is his condition but are really hopeful that he will be saved in whatever way possible.
Praveen needs a bone marrow from a donor however after running various tests, it has been identified that he does not have a HLA matched family donor or an unrelated donor. Which is why he needs to undergo haplo transplant using a TCR depletion kit with one of the parents as the donor. The total cost for the same comes around 30 lakhs.
The family has already spent 6 lakhs on the treatment are already in debt, they are unsure how they will be able to arrange such a huge amount.
