Vinitha Cries In Silence As A Rapidly Spreading Cancer Threatens To Kill Her

From a very young age she was inspired by the banners in her school that had the 1st rank holder's name and photo. She used to tell us that one day her name will also be there on the banner. She was so excited to start her 10th grade classes, but a few weeks ago she collapsed on the floor because of terrible stomach pain. She thinks the pain is due to stones in her stomach but the truth is she has a tumor. She is desperately waiting to go to school but cancer might kill her anytime without treatment," - Kavitha, mother.

I don't have the heart to tell her that she has cancer

A month ago, Vinitha was complaining of stomach pain, she had medicines but it kept recurring. One day, she collapsed on the floor. Vivekanandan and Kavitha rushed her to a local hospital and were waiting for the scan report. They were least prepared to hear the news that she has a tumor in her stomach. They immediately took her to a hospital in Bangalore and heard yet another shocking news that the tumor is cancerous and is growing in size. She needs a surgery and chemo cycles to recover but poor Vinitha thinks all she needs are a few injections.

"It's been a month since she's been admitted to hospital, she keeps asking us to take her home. She is worried that she is missing her classes, she calls her friends and tries to follow up with the lessons. She is slowly losing hope. She cries in silence. She knows she needs surgery but she thinks it is to remove the stones in her stomach." - Kavitha

I worked day and night so that she can have a bright future, now I fear that I'll lose her

Vivekanandan is a farmer, he also does odd jobs to make ends meet and take care of his wife and 3 children. He has spent 2 lakh by borrowing money from his friends, family and by selling the only set of gold bangles he had bought a year back for Vinitha. He needs 8 lakhs for the treatment and it is just impossible for him to arrange for it. He is desperately waiting for your help, without which Vinitha will not be able to get the treatment in time.

"I used to drop my daughter to school on my cycle. Just a few days before the diagnosis, she told me, "Appa, this year my name will come on this banner and even in newspapers for securing highest marks." I was sure that she'll make us proud one day but now she is slowly dying, please help me save her." - Vivekanandan

Vinitha is in constant pain and is slowly losing hope. She is waiting every day to go to school but without treatment she'll lose her life.
