This 5-Year-Old Has 4th Stage Cancer, Only A Life-Saving Transplant Today Can Save Her Life

“She was playing around and suddenly started crying saying her stomach aches badly. No medicine worked and for two months there was not even a day when she had a moment of relief. But cancer? We never imagined something like that”-  Sandhya, mother.

Kavya is only 5. But she has 4th stage cancer- Neuroblastoma, type of cancer that forms in certain types of nerve tissues. Her life is at risk. The little girl has already gone through 5 cycles of chemotherapy in the last 6 months. She is extremely weak, and it's only getting worse. Her parents have only a few hours to save her.

Even her favourite colouring books can't distract her anymore

Kavya is an adorable little girl. When her family got to know that she won’t be able to survive long without immediate treatment, they did everything they could to save their little child but are unable to afford the cost.

“She has always been a happy and active child. She loves colours and cartoons. To keep her distracted from all the pain, I give her books to colour. But when the doses are high, she tries to keep her eyes open but fails and sleeps on the bed feeling tired. It’s very painful to watch her like this”-  Veeranjaneyulu, father

Little Kavya's only chance now is a bone marrow transplant that she needs in the next few hours. She is now in the bone marrow transplant ward, isolated, waiting for the treatment that can save her life.

They have just today to save their daughter's life

Kavya's parents work as daily wage labourers on other’s farms. Their income is not enough to afford the transplant. They took loans and borrowed money from relatives and could afford chemo but now they are all out of money. And now, they are running out of time as well.

“I am in debt already and at the most I can arrange 1 lakh more but the rest, I don’t know how I will. I don't want to lose my daugther, but I don't have enough time to arrange the 10 lakhs needed for the transplant.”- Veeranjaneyulu

Kavya won’t be able to make it without the transplant. Her situation is very critical and her family is struggling to be able to afford it.

Your help Kavya fight the deadly cancer and give her a happy life. Without your help she won't be able to make it.
