It started as a fever and in a few hours she began to vomit blood
On March 5th, Eshitha got a high fever and it did not subside even after taking medicines. When they took her to the hospital, blood tests confirmed that she had typhoid. She was given IV fluids. Her parents thought she would get better with it, but to their shock, she started vomiting blood.
Eshita had a full-blown infection. The parents were advised to take her to Vijayawada before it spreads to her brain. She was battling severe pneumonia, bleeding disorder, liver failure and multiple organs were affected.

Gowtham works in a computer services company and he earns around Rs 15,000. He has spent 6 lakh for the treatment, he sold the only piece of land that he had and borrowed from his friends. Now he needs 6 lakh more without which he cannot continue the treatment. Eshitha is still on the ventilator support in ICU, she needs another 7-10 days of treatment.
