A venture in rural India that started with just two | Milaap

A venture in rural India that started with just two employees, today has over 20 people working.

The ICF center that I visited was in Kanthikuppam. It consists of two workshops, one which deals with all the stitching work, and the second that deals with gluing and handicraft work. It was started by Padmavathi and her husband, who are entrepreneurs who took a loan to buy two sewing machines. When they started, they had two employees, currently they work with over 20 employees.
