Mrs. Victoria started the Edith Douglas school for orphan students a few year ago when she realized no one would accept them in their own school. She now welcomes students from the low-middle class as the school fees are quite low. Even now, she told me she still supports a few students all by herself. A few months ago, she asked a loan in order to build a new library to improve her students’ education.
When I visited the school, the loan had just been disbursed. The library had been built and the school was expecting the delivery of other books to complete their collection. The students of Edith Douglas High School now enjoy a better access to knowledge and are very thankful for this change.
