I am vismaya S, 19 year old student form Mysore,India. I have always wondered how international organisations work like , handling the diplomacy involved in it. Being a learner always tried to learn about international relations and mechanism of United Nations as well , and I have finally got the opportunity .
I am selected as a Delegate in Asian Youth International Model United Nations 2020 ( AYIMUN ) which is going to be held from February 22nd to February 25th August 2020 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia .
AYIMUN is an academic simulation of United Nations where participant play the role of delegates from different countries and attempt to solve real global issues with the policies and perspectives of their assigned country .
When I got to know about such opportunity I immediately applied for it . Acknowledging my interest and learning ability i got the Acceptence Letter the next day , inviting me to AYIMUN 2020.
AYIMUN aims to engage youth leaders from all over the world and to provide a platform to share perspectives in opinions with the theme " global diplomacy amongst the sovereign nations”
I look forward to be a part of AYIMUN and improve my leadership, negotiation and diplomacy skills . It also gives me a rare chance to implement my idea of problem solving and World level recognition . Moreover this will inspire other youths and women of local society as i will be representing them at a global scale .
Your contribution would mean a lot to me as I have to pay off the fee by 20 October 2019. my family is not in a position to afford the expenses .
The draft resolution for the issue discussed is usually submitted to policy makers and I really want to be a part of the process . I wanna be a part of this auspicious opportunity and make my country proud hence i decided to go for crowdfunding .
Amount Being raised is INR 40,426 ( USD 570).
This covers the AYIMUN program fees and accommodation during program .
