Make 2020 memorable to 385 students of Nirmaan supported Govt schools

Remember the days when you went to school with all the energy and hoped to learn something new?

Remember those moments of happiness with a bright smile on your face when someone gave you a notebook, a bag, lunch box , a book to read or basic stationary ?

These are some of the things my kids don't have and might not get unless we help them.

About the schools:
We went around visiting the schools in Bangalore and we listed the needs of the schools.

I was worried looking at the  hygiene conditions for children  at various schools and some of them did not have toilets in working condition . About 23% of girls drop out of school because of poor sanitation facilities , this was really heartbreaking for us because we could see that the dreams of  girls were being crushed because of lacking of a basic necessity . Sanitation is a human right and must be available to all .So  we have prioritized the construction of toilets.
Secondly an important fact that more than 50% of the children in Grade 5 in India cannot read at Grade 2 level 1 . Economic priorities mean children from low-income environments have little access to books at home. The library then becomes their sole resource for reading material.Global research suggests that merely providing a library-like atmosphere can encourage children to spend more time reading. So we are planning to set up  libraries in 2 schools.

The budget is mentioned below:
Toilets(3 boys + 3 girls+ hand-wash area)₹ 3,00,000.00
Library set up ( 2 Schools) Cupboards₹ 60,000.00
Library Books₹ 55,000.00
Chairs And Tables₹ 65,000.00
 Milaap platform fee
₹ 30,000.00
other expensesincludes transport,materials, painting, room repair₹ 40,000.00
TOTAL₹ 5,50,000.00
* the above cost include bank charges and service charges.

Whenever we talk about India's future, I think all of us agree that the one pillar that will make the maximum impact is educational equity. We all give money to religious institutions without asking where the money is going.

Imagine the same money going directly to help these kids with complete transparency. This is a chance to actually make a difference in India's future. This is a chance to make a direct impact on the vision we have for India and the lives of these 385 kids.

To make these students learn better and fill their learning with “Joy”, I want your support.

PS: We are open to donations in other forms like laptops, projectors, computers (in working condition) too.

"Discover the joy of giving and you will discover the reason for living."

Thank you.

Thanks a lot for your contribution. It means a lot to us. We are still in progress to reach our target. Once we reach close to 2.5-3 lakhs we will start the toilet construction as that is our priority. I request you all to kindly share this fundraiser in your circles.
