My name is Vino. I am a proud member of the LGBTQ community. Being an intersex person, like my fellow queers I too was subjected to discrimination and ridicule. I have a condition called Retinitis pigmentosa that leaves me visually impaired. It left me feeling incapacitated and my life hit rock bottom. I discovered hope and the will to win through these amazing friends in the community. They pulled me out of the darkness and gave me strength to fight my own battles. I travelled to various places with them devoting our time to activism. I worked with them to let people know that we hide no longer in shame for there is nothing shameful about accepting one's orientation. I understand that nothing changes overnight and it is upto us to keep the fire burning bright. I take pride in the fact that I do my bit to make this world a better place for the young people out there. We spread love and we forgive the hate. Recently I've been diagnosed with testicular malignancy. I was advised to undergo surgery as soon as possible because there is a high risk of the tumor turning malignant. I would be very grateful if you could help finance this surgery. Even a meagre amount would go a very long way. With your help I might me able to live my life to the fullest and help better the lives of people in my community. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
