We are are group of individuals from varied backgrounds beginning a Gaushala in Palicherla Village near Gudur (Spsr Nellore dist, Andhra Pradesh) wherein cows of all ilk are taken care. Abandoned cows, injured cows, farmers who cannot afford or provide food for their livestock can drop them here for a particular period of the year or they can let their cows grow here.
We are pained by the number of cows sent to slaughter houses. Many farmers could not sustain the cost of buying grass or maintaining the cows throughout the year and they are helpless.
We are not looking at value proposition or profit in this. This is an initiative to save cows, you may visit the place when it goes live and stay near the gaushala, wherein we will provide basic accommodation and food during your period of stay and you can witness the quantum of work.
Place is given free of cost i.e without any lease or rent by a cancer stricken family on the condition that cows are accommodated in organic or natural way.
An acre of grass is being grown now.
We are a group of Hindus determined to stop cow slaughtering for want of feed and to take care of abandoned cows. Funds are required to building a full-fledged gaushala and for feeding them throughout the year. Out of 3 bore wells in the place, owner of the land dedicated one borewell exclusively for the purpose of Gaushala necessities.
Please note : We are not making on a value-proposition calculations or for promoting desi cow products, our main and primary intention is to feed cows throughout the year.

Before this initiative we visited many goshaalas across South India to know operational issues of maintaining goshaala and got a fair knowledge of the issues faced by them.
