In a world full of disconnect, disengagement, and distrust among individuals and communities, The Blue Ribbon Movement is on a path to create youth leaders for a better world.
I joined BRM in 2018 as a fellow of the 8th batch of the flagship program, Community Connect Fellowship. Since then I am volunteering with the Movement. The journey in the past two years has been really enriching by coordinating the civic program and co-anchoring the internal norms vertical for the movement. It is really fun to work and hang out with these amazing people from the Movement.
I have learned to be patient, emphatic, and understanding toward others.
I am aware of what's happening around me. I have become a person who can now express herself.
About The Blue Ribbon Movement:
With the idea to create active citizenship among the youth of the society, the movement has traveled a long way with currently running multiple big and small initiatives with 100% consent (Sarvanumati).
The Movement Circle is a group of young individuals who have been through a journey of self-discovery and change in BRM and understand the value of the movement.
BRM Movement Circle believes in the idea of people funded (Jan-adharit) movement where the citizens themselves contribute to the movement which they feel has the potential to bring change.
