Hello! I am Tarun, an aspiring Data Scientist currently pursuing Bachelor's of Technology in Computer Science (V Sem) from The LNM Institute of Information Technology, Jaipur, India. I recently got selected as a delegate at a highly prestigious conference, HPAIR (The Harvard Project for Asian & International Relations) - Harvard College Conference which will be held at Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, the USA from 14 February 2020 to 17 February 2020.

I am among the 350 delegates shortlisted from an outstanding pool of applicants that included students, professionals, entrepreneurs and inventors from all over the world. More than 3000 people apply for this conference with less than 10% making the cut. I am attaching the acceptance letter from Harvard for your reference.

What is HPAIR?
Harvard College Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) is a highly reputed conference that happens twice a year where a few delegates are selected to be a part of the global and Asia-Pacific conversation about important issues of cultural, economic, environmental, social, geopolitical and technological relevance. Past speakers include Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Kim Dae-Jung, Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate.

I have been selected for the Science and Technology track at HPAIR Harvard 2020 which will revolve around the theme ‘Striking a balance: Vision for a Conflicted World’. It’s "Science and Technology" Track will discuss topics like ‘A New Space Race’, ‘Fighting for AI technological Superiority’.

What will I do at HPAIR?

HPAIR is a perfect event to meet leaders and innovative young thinkers that are interested in furthering the Asian-International Conversation. Being Alexa Student Influencer I also plan to give a speech and share my views on "Advancements in Voice-Tech Domain" at HPAIRx, provided we are given the opportunity. Moreover, I'll get to talk to the best minds in the world. Meeting the professors, students and local people would enlarge my network. Apart from that, the multi-culture exposure I'll receive from that brilliant pool of delegates would no doubt enrich my personality and mindset.

How can you Help?
I'd highly appreciate any contribution made for this cause, be it very small. Even if you could share this campaign with your network (like WhatsApp groups, FB groups, DMs etc.) would significantly boost the pace of the campaign and could help me achieve the mentioned sum. Also, I'd love to personally thank you for donations if you provide your address via email (tarunnsingh2019@gmail.com)/ WhatsApp (+91 9917360131) or comment.

HPAIR is truly going to serve as the gateway for my dreams and is definitely going to be a door for my future endeavours in the field of Science & Technology.
