We, Helping Hands CC under URI are a group of youngsters residing in Kolkata. We work with the pavement dwellers providing free education to their children, bringing them back to mainstream education. We try to provide them with breakfast every morning.


We are happy to announce like every year, this year too we are organizing a blanket distribution programme among the pavement dwellers all around Kolkata. The condition of the people staying on the streets is really heartbreaking especially during winter season.

The smiles on their face when we gave them blankets all these years was worth the hard work that we had put together to make it a success. Till last year we were able to distribute 100 blankets, this year we want to take a leap of faith by planning to distribute blankets to 200 street dwellers and we cannot do that without your help and cooperation.
