Greetings to all you kind hearted, dog lovers across the world 🤗 We are 50+ Indian Street dogs living a very happy life that's going to get tougher very soon due to the immense hatred from dog haters in our residential colony. So we are reaching out to you all for help in setting up a loving, forever home for us. A charitable trust in our name will be registered soon and in the future our hoomans intend to help our other fur friends living out there on the streets.
About us
We are Sangeeta Pereira & Ravi Shukla from Mumbai, India. We're pawrents of 50+ street dogs and have been looking after them since the past 3 years, half of them since they were lil pups. We have got these pups, their moms & friends vaccinated & sterilized. Fed twice a day, they have become very attached to us and, we, to them. We believe they are the most innocent & sweetest creatures on earth and call them angels. Pls visit us on Instagram @our.indian.street.angels and see how happy street dogs we are 😇
Our most special angel Bruno is a tripawd. His leg was badly damaged in a road accident when he was just 5 months old. I kept him at home for some months then we got him neutered & later amputated as per vet's advice.
Why this campaign?
We are reaching out to you for help because ours & hence our angels' future in our colony is in dire straits due to a lot of hatred & threats. We have decided to launch this fundraising campaign so that we can shift our poor angels to a safe, forever home, away from all negativity & hatred. Without our being around they will starve & with no medical help they will perish 😔
Our plan
We need to urgently buy a piece of land asap & set up base for our angels. We are looking at land in the outskirts of Mumbai. There are properties available for around INR 30,00,000 (that's approx USD 43,000) area being around 20,000 sqft.
We will be land hunting from next week and shall keep you posted on progress. Hopefully, if we're able to raise the amount with your kind support, we will have to fence the entire area & make partitions for the different groups of angels. There will be sheds for all, other infrastructure planning and staff. If all goes well, our angels will be in a happy forever home in 3 months time.
We seek your help in raising this amount asap. Please donate whatever amount you can spare so that this goal can be achieved in a month's time. Even if you can't, at least do share with friends, family and on social media.
