SAMATVAM's vision is to ensure that each and every child with Type 1 Insulin dependent diabetes shall be helped in best possible ways to become a healthy, happy, productive, self-reliant and proud citizen. Hence this campaign is titled #Insulin4India.

Samatvam has zealously pursued the mission of 'no child with diabetes in India shall die due to unaffordability or lack of life sustaining and lifesaving insulin'.

The annual cost of diabetic care for a child is Rs. 19,840 or US $ 270. Given the current difficult economic conditions, Samatvam is proposing to both intensify and expand its support to children with diabetes.

Samatvam has pioneered Telemedicine Enriched Diabetes Care for Covid19 Patients in Home and Hospital Settings over the last 12 months. Samatvam wants to ensure that children with diabetes (Type 1) are well supported during COVID19 times.

Volunteers of Samatvam is a group of entrepreneurs, professionals and well wishers who have known Samatvam as a caregiver for years. Some of us have closely known Dr. S. Srikanta for decades and have been greatly inspired by his commitment to helping children with Type 1 Diabetes. We the volunteers of Samatvam, are keen on helping families and children with diabetes tide over the crisis. We seek your support.

We are looking to raise Rs. 25 Lakhs or US$ 35,000 to support Samatvam’s mission of improved care to children that we are currently supporting and also bring more children under our fold.  The targeted amount would cover the expenses of 125 children for one year.

This is a 100% not-for-profit and charitable initiative, with proceeds going exclusively to Samatvam:
1. All donations in INR are applicable for 80G Tax Benefits. To claim your 80G Tax benefit please drop us an email with a screenshot confirming your donation at ramkiblr.ramakrishna@gmail.com

2. The campaign is also Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) compliant. We welcome support from donors globally.

Support our #insulin4india campaign to let our children with Diabetes survive these crisis prone times!
