Children and childhood across the world, have broadly been construed in terms of a ‘golden age’ that is synonymous with innocence, freedom, joy, play and the like. It is the time when, spared the rigours of adult life, one hardly shoulders any kind of responsibility or obligations. But, then, it is also true that children are vulnerable, especially when very young. The fact that children are vulnerable, they need to be cared for, protected from ‘the harshness of the world outside’ and educate well. This being so, the adult-child relation, parents in particular, is said to provide ‘care, protection and education’ – serving thereby the ‘best interests of the child’ and meeting their day-to-day ‘needs of survival and development’.

Jeevodaya society has a homes for Boys called "SPARC" and homes for girls called "CHIRAG". At, present we have total 65 children who are staying in homes and enrolled with education and vocational skill development course to lead a independent life in future. Out of 65, 41 children in that 20 boys and 21 girls are enrolled in school education programme. This children are abandoned and runaway children from the different part of India. Jeevodaya society aims to support a holistic development of these children which includes Education, Shelter, Food, and Healthcare.

In this difficult time as an organization our upmost priority to provide the nutritious meal to those 65 children who stays in shelter homes to boost up their immune system strongly. We are looking for your kind support to help this 65 children's ration for the entire year. The total budget of the ration for the year June 2020 to Dec 2020 is INR 4,68,000.00. The average cost per child is 1200 a month. (1,200 per children x 6 months x 65 children).
