Please Help Rajeswari Recover From An Accident

On Monday the 11th of November, Rajeswari was riding her scooter to work when a flagpole erected by a political party allegedly fell onto the road. After falling from her vehicle onto the road, she was run over by a lorry and was grievously hurt. Her legs were crushed by the lorry and she received multiple fractures.

Onlookers rushed Rajeswari to a Royal Care hospital bearby and alerted her relatives who rushed to the hospital. She is currently receiving medical attention and doctors are trying to avoid amputating her leg to the best extent possible. They have said that they will proceed with the next surgery to attempt to reconnect the nerves after ensuring there is no infection in the site. Initial estimates for the treatment have been north of 10,00,000 INR, a sum that is beyond her family's means.

Some immediate expenses are being footed by her employer and well wishers, we are fundraising for any further medical expenses and rehabilitation for her. We will share more details in due time.

Rajeswari as the sole breadwinner of the family that depends on her for their livelihood - needs our help to recover from these difficult circumstances.

Dear Supporters,

Thank you all for the support and love.

With all your prayers and God's blessings, Rajeshwari was discharged from hospital and is back at her home.

She will be following the medication, physiotherapy and post hospitalization care/rehabilitation at home with visits to hospital as suggested by doctors over the next few months. Doctors have advised that it would take a couple of months for her operated leg to get cured and body to adjust/accept the amputation and be ready to fit the prosthetic leg. We are very much hopeful and positive that Rajeshwari would be back on her feet and be able to go about her daily job/needs.

The family and friends once again share our heartfelt gratitude to each one of you for your contribution and prayers. Please keep her in your prayers and we pray for everyone's well being at this time.

Best Regards,
Venkatesh
