Hello everyone! My name is Arun Logan, son of Pushpa Rani Logan, 61. Three months ago, my mother was diagnosed with Chronic Liver Diseases and Decompensated Jaundice. She was admitted in Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences, New Delhi. Since I am the only working member in the family, it was very difficult to manage finances and also because ILBS is a private hospital. She was treated for a week in that hospital which costed me around 1.45 Lakhs. Then post her discharge from the hospital we spent almost 30K every week for next two months on her medicines.

On 30th Sep, 2021 her condition escalated, and we had to admit her back to ILBS and this time she was diagnosed with Liver Cirrhosis with only 20% of her Liver working. Her condition is quite serious now as her heart and Kidneys are also getting affected slowly. Doctors are not giving me any certainty for her cure. Till 5th of Oct, I have spent around Rs.1,20,000 and on 4th Oct, because of her serious condition she was moved to ICU which will cost me around Rs.50,000 almost everyday. Also, after she gets a bit stable, doctors are suggesting for a liver transplant which will cost us around 30 - 35 Lakhs. I have made all possible efforts to arrange funds for her treatment but now because of this uncertainty I am falling short of funds to pay to the hospital.
