My name is Yogesh Sharma and I am raising funds for my colleague Pranshu Sharma who is 37 years old. Both of us worked together in a private company. I have known Pranshu for 10 years.
Pranshu currently lives in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh with his wife and 3 years old son. Pranshu is suffering from Colorectal Cancer from past 2 years. He is receiving Chemotherapy at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre. Until now, Pranshu has undergone chemo and radio therapy. His situation improved last year after initial treatment and raised hope of his recovery. He was on good recovery path but his tumour relapsed in September 2021. He has to undergo 12 chemotherapy session out of which he has already received 10 and 2 more to go. Each of this session causes excessive financial burden on him and his family in current times of distress. Till now Pranshu has spent more than Rs.15,00,000 on his treatment alone.
He will continue to take chemotherapy to keep his level of cancer under control and doctors will decide mode of further chemotherapy - if he has to continue to get them at the hospital or he may have oral chemotherapy session. Once his tumour is under control, doctors may decide if he can have surgery to remove tumour from the body.
Till now Pranshu has managed his treatment from his limited savings, loans, health insurance, borrowings from friends and relatives. In the next few days, he may need up to Rs.30,00,000. more for surgery and further treatment. Please come forward to support this initiative in the best possible ways.
