Binapani is a 48 year old woman who was  diagnosed with 3rd Stage Ovary Cancer in around October 2014.
Her Husband works in Odisha Police.

Laparascopic biopsy was used to determine the cancer.Following it , she underwent 3 cycles of Chemo  every 21 days.On Dec 28 2014 , Surgery was done and 2 Ovary + Uterus + Appendix + 13 lymph nodes were removed. Then again after 3 weeks , 3 cycles of chemo were given with a 21 days interval. This concluded the 1st line of treatment and they were all completed by Feb 2015.

After 1 year and 6 months , PET-SCAN was conducted and it was found that metastasis has happened in the Pelvic region.The 2nd line of treatment started with Day1 - Day 8 for 6 cycles ( 12 times Chemotherapy ) cycles of chemo every one month.Again she was advised checkup every 6 months.

After 1 year in Feb 2017 , CA-125 was 8. In March 2017 , PET-CT was done , Pelvic regions germs were active but cyst was there which cannot be operated for 2nd time.
After nearly 1 year in April 2018 PET-CT Scan was done and Colon mass was observed. Hence 3rd line of treatment was started which was only chemo therapy.Another 6 cycles of chemo every months which completed in Sept 2018.In December 2018 , CA-125 was reduced to 5.5
In January to May 2019 ,CA-125 has increased to 39.
She underwent 3 months of another chemotherapy cycles.

To summarize, From Oct 2014 till this month , She has undergone many lines of treatment which includes surgery and several cycles of chemotherapy.She has exhausted most of her savings. Medical expenses behind the treatment has been a struggle. As for now, she has a recurrence in the pelvic region and advised a surgery which is going to cost 6 lakhs.
