We are three students Deeya, Kabir and Ria and we have seen that COVID-19 has disrupted many lives and brought hardship and grief to many. It's a tough time for most of us, but even tougher for the helpless and the voiceless. Animal rights have always been weak in a country where millions live below the poverty line. We are living in a time where animal cruelty is on the rise. Videos and photos of animals being abused on social media have become a common sight. Added to this are the perils of the pandemic, which are further worsening the life of these vulnerable animals.
All Creatures Great and Small (ACGS), is an animal sanctuary near Delhi, whose mission is to maintain a gentle, nurturing, loving and compassionate sanctuary for old, sick, abandoned, and lonely animals. We believe every animal that comes through our gates is a sentient being who has the right to a life without fear and exploitation. It is worthy of quality care, good nutrition, medical attention, and love.
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected negatively India’s animal population and the work of ACGS. Animals have lost their access to human interaction and food and water on the streets because of the curfew and lockdown. With restaurants and shops closed, food is now not available to them.

Presently, ACGS takes care of 450+ dogs, 7 pigs, 250 cats, 11 horses, 20 donkeys, 1 sheep, 18 goats, 49 cattle, 3 buffaloes, 15 emus, 55 ducks, 20 rabbits, 16 guinea pigs, 3 nilgais, 2 crows, 21 hens, 45 birds, 11 turtles, 1 owl. many fish, and still counting...
By donating, you will help us provide them with nutritional food, medical care, help seek redressal for cruelty done against animals, running an open sanctuary for outside visitors, local villagers and volunteers to educate people in animal husbandry and organic sustainable farming practices. More recently, for volunteers and staff to act as advocates to stigmatize animals as vectors of a human virus based on the most up to date WHO medical evidence. Our individual worries and the ideal environment which we would want for these vulnerable creatures are all being met in ACGS. their work aligns with us morally and they provide the most wholesome and positive home for these animals in their sanctuary. We assure you the money you donate will go into trusted hands and improve the lives of these animals

This is a 100% not-for-profit campaign, and we will disclose the disbursement progress of the fund generated. This will be shared with all contributors at the end of the campaign, along with regular updates to donors. All donations are exempt under 80G.
