Sudhamani lost her husband couple of months back to Leukemia, who was the sole breadwinner of the family. He was taking treatment at Kovai Medical Centre Hospital, Coimbatore. She incurred lot of debts from her husband's treatment. She is struggling hard to repay the debts and run the family alone. She has spent around 12 lakhs for the treatment totally. She was able to repay 7 lakhs through her friends and relatives support and yet to pay 5 lakhs along with supporting her kids education and day to day expenses.

She has got two kids, a boy studying in 1st standard and a girl studying in 6th standard, at Govt Elementary School, Thottipalayam and Govt Higher Secondary School, Muthur, Tiruppur (Dt) respectively.
