Help Krishna Chaithanya for a Heart Transplant surgery

Neeraj is a 12-year old straight-A student who excels at academics and loves to talk to people. Lakshana is 6, and loves to dance and sing to her heart's content. Both these kids have a full beautiful life ahead of them.

Krishna Chaithanya, their father, is a humble man brought up in the most humble of households, and is responsible for raising two of the most beautiful and intelligent children you will ever see.

It was a normal day for Krishna as he headed to his new found job on the morning of 10th July 2018 in Bangalore and that’s when the disaster struck when he had a massive cardiac arrest and was admitted to the Cardiac Care Hospital called Narayana Hrudayalaya, Hosur where he was given the bad news that he needs a heart transplant immediately which as expected is immensely expensive.

Krishna has been through every kind of hardship under the sun, and despite that, has fostered a loving and nurturing home for his wife and two children. His dream has always been to provide a better future for his family. His immediate family and extended family have supported him to meet the expenses so far but given the nature of the expense it needs substantial amount of monies as indicated by the hospital

Any kind of contribution you can provide towards having him healthy and happy again is absolutely invaluable. Every little contribution you make will help Krishna fight this condition that has befallen him and pull through. The total cost is estimated to be ₹35,00,000 ( Thirty Five Lakhs) .

Any contribution on your part is invaluable and nothing short of Godliness. Your kind generosity can bring him back to his family the future he has always dreamt of giving them.

Additionally, your help in spreading this message around and help in raising funds for his surgery will be greatly appreciated.

Krishna and all of us really need your support, and your prayers.

Thank you for the spontaneous outpouring and overwhelming support for Krishna. It is with a lot of grief and heavy heart that we announce that Krishna has breathed his last. We could feel how Krishna and his life has impacted so many people going by the spontaneous support that we have received in the past 8 days. It is an invaluable loss to us as well as to all those lives he has touched.

His wife and two young kids have to move on from here and they seek all your blessings, prayers and love as they come to terms with their loss and to face their future with great strength and fortitude.

Thanks from the bottom of our hearts to all his colleagues, friends, personal contacts, anonymous donors and all others for their wonderful gesture towards the cause.

Any questions or clarification are welcome.

" 'Thank you' is the best prayer that anyone could say that expresses extreme gratitude, humility, understanding. We say that a lot at this juncture."

Love you all.

Thank you so much for your overwhelming support and contribution, we will need your continued support and prayers.

Quick Update :

Krishna has currently gone through an Angioplasty followed by a By-pass . He is currently under ECMO ( Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation ) as his heart is failing and he has to find a new heart (donor) in the present situation.

As an immediate next step, as early as Friday or Saturday this week, Krishna needs to go through a procedure of installing a Bi-Ventricular Assist Device (BI-VAD) as both of his heart chambers have failed. This Bi-VAD device alone would alone cost 10.9L besides other ICU related and hospital related expenses. This Bi-VAD  is expected to be in place for 6 to 8 weeks. We expect this procedure to go well leading to the heart transplant, which is the eventual solution.

The monies that are donated would go towards the installation of Bi-VAD which is the immediate expense.

Receipts pertaining to the procedures carried out so far are uploaded here for donors to view and any advice, inputs and clarifications are welcome

We will continue to keep this forum posted about progress made and such and request your prayers and continued support for Krishna.
