As per the National Mental Health Survey (2016), in India, nearly 9.8 million adolescents (13-17 years) are in need of active mental health intervention. In a world with rising mental health concerns, with your support, we aim to ensure that each student experiences a safe space. A space to explore and express their emotional needs to provide timely support and intervention.

 
What are we doing?- Our collective Effort:

 
Aatma Prakash in collaboration with Save the Children, in Dhar district of M.P. is working with 100 schools, 200 teachers and approximately 10,000 students. A team of six psychologists and facilitators are trained to provide psycho-social support by conducting awareness sessions within these schools. In the past four months of working in this region the team realised the importance of providing accessible mental health support among students.

 
Our expert psychologists have curated a MENTAL HEALTH COMIC for children from government schools. We need your support in raising the funds to make accessible these comics in each school as part of our collective efforts in phase-I.

 
HOW will your funds be utilised?

With your support we will be able to make accessible mental health comics to 149 students across 100 schools in Dhar District M.P.
The Bal Cabinets in collaboration with Save The Children will enable student leaders to learn skills to deal with difficult emotions. The COMIC will help students revisit the training and through simple activities continue the path of self-discovery and emotional growth.
