Support "Nivedita" festival with awards for rural artistes and dances

Nivedita is a cultural festival by Aatmalaya trust to be held sept 7th at Bangalore to award senior artistes with economic duress from rural areas and smaller towns with cash prizes and felicitations. Every year atleast such unsung 3 or 4 artists are brought to Bangalore with due honour. Aatmalaya is training government school children widely in India for over 12 years and giving opportunity to them to perform before Heads of state and at Rashtrapati Bhavan too under the guidance of acclaimed dancer scholar Dr Padmaja. The festival title is to commemorate Sister Nivedita of Swami Vivekananda tradition through dance performances by reputed artistes. The previous years were in honour of Dr Kalam, Dr Munshi and Smt Sarojini Naidu.
