Nandeesh Reddy has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He needs a bone-marrow transplant urgently. His parents are both migrant agricultural workers and cannot afford treatment.
Nandeesh is their hope for a life out of poverty. The cost of the transplant is estimated to be Rs 18,00,000. Nandeesh's father has already taken a loan of 6 lakhs to pay for Nandeesh's cancer treatment.
He is staring at a life of debt and poverty, but he is ready to deal with that as long as his son gets better.
