The Summary
Provide creativity and employability skill training to thousands of boys and girls in rural areas through activity books, worksheets and online tests. Rural India is facing crisis in the field of education. There is inequity in education because rich or affluent Indian children have access to excellent education and expertise, whereas the low-income peers continue to lag behind. In total of the 300+ million children in India, 4% never go to school, 42% drop out of school before 5th grade and 90% do not get an opportunity to get collegiate education. Lack of education creates high rate of unemployment figures in rural Indian scenario. To control this menace, students have to be trained for new skill set that makes them employable and even launch own business. The students will gain knowledge to earn their livelihoods as well as contribute to family and community well-being.

MakeGenius vision and mission is to create 1,00,000 entrepreneurs in 2018-19 by providing necessary skill set and training to students in rural India who are living below the poverty line and studying in Government schools. We not only focus on student's career to land on a 9 to 5 job but also offer necessary skill set and training for students to become entrepreneur or industrialist or businessman so as to make India a powerful economy.
Our content team including Scholars and Entrepreneurs are constantly creating and designing activity books, worksheets and online weekly test to help children achieve good grades. Once our exceptional and creative educational tools are offered no doubt, the dropout rates will come down and more students will graduate from primary and secondary school and be college ready.
The Risks and Challenges
During our launch period the Schools were not able to take solid decision because the Principal and the Management have difference of opinion in implementing our creativity and employability skills program.
To break this hurdle MakeGenius has planned to reach the students directly by offering workbooks, worksheets and online test for free through this campaign.
How these Funds will be used
To make this project into reality we require Rs. 15,00,000 to offer our materials like workbooks, worksheets, activity books for 1st Graders to 5th Graders and online test for 6th to 10th Graders.
With your support 10,000 students of rural area will be benefited through this campaign.
The amount raised will be utilized for printing of workbooks, worksheets, activity books (365 pages in total) and for online test software subscription(SAAS) for one academic year to conduct weekly test for 24 weeks 72 test 2160 MCQ;s.
