    This fundraiser will benefit

    child of Savram Diwasi

    from Pune, Maharashtra

“Since the last 2 years, there hasn’t been a day when my child didn’t suffer from the pain. He cried day and night unable to sleep, eat or even breathe sometimes. Despite undergoing multiple treatments, his stomach kept growing bigger and his body turned pale. We kept fighting and stayed strong but in August when I saw my little boy vomiting blood, it scared me to death and I knew that the worst has happened. His liver has failed!” - Savram, father

He needs a transplant and he needs it now

Tarun was a healthy born child with normal growth and activities. There was no sign of any ailment up until he was about to turn 3. He suffered from jaundice and on further tests, he was diagnosed with a liver disease. The veins in his liver were blocked causing damage to the liver. He underwent two major stent surgeries to clear the blockage but they failed and now, his liver is completely damaged.

There is only one way to save him- a liver transplant and he needs it at the earliest.

She tries to reduce her child's pain but fails

“It became a routine for my child, to get a check-up every 15-20 days. Tarun never questioned it as he thought it is normal but it is not and it should never be for any child. I want my child to be able to play and enjoy life like other children of his age. I don’t want him to spend his day on a bed unable to move due to the excruciating pain. This disease is killing him and I feel so helpless, unable to do anything..” - Lehri

Every day Lehri desperately tries to reduce her child’s pain, sometimes cooking Tarun’s favourite meal, sometimes playing his favourite cartoon but nothing is helping the little boy. On the other hand, Savram heads out of home every day in hope of finding a way to afford the life-saving transplant to save Tarun but they are running out of time.

Only you can help them save 4-year-old Tarun

“I work at a small mobile shop in Pune. I get some 15000 rupees every month but ever since Tarun got sick, it has been very difficult to afford food along with his medicines. Till the time he gets the transplant he needs one injection everyday to keep his blood flowing normally. I am unable to afford even that one injection now. Over the past few months, I have spent every rupee I had, sold everything that held value but now when we are so close to beating his disease I am unable to continue. I don’t want to lose my son, please help me!” - Savram
