I'm fundraising money to provide a small basic home to a local house maid 'Neetu' and her kids. Neetu was 16 when she came to Delhi with her 2 kids, leaving behind her abusive drunk husband. Since 15 years she is staying in this JJ colony in Dwarka making ends meet by doing work in few souses in our society. She is living in a 8x10 sq ft room with her kids and trying her best to provide them education so that they don't have to live a life which she saw.

But to her misery her husband still comes to her and beat her and take all the money she has at her home. Until last 3 months, her own mother and 6 brothers used to save her from her husband whenever she called out for help. In return, she used to give part of her earnings to them, as her own brothers hardly work.
Later this year she stopped giving her brothers money as she had to start paying for her kids tuition fees and needed to save some money for their brighter future. Now her own elder brother starts to beat her and abuse her and also threatened her for her life, left with no choice she called police. She didn't know that this will make her life worse, because her land lord now has asked her vacant the place and no one else is ready to give a single lady a room.

She is now considering to marry off her kids so that they don't have to starve and live off on streets.

She has been a fighter and has inspired me to live life on your own terms and not bend just because you are a woman. Seeing her in this condition I could not resist and started raising money to provide her and her kids a home where she can live with dignity and fearlessly of thrown out on the street.
