    This fundraiser will benefit

    Md Muzzamil

    from Hyderabad, Telangana

It’s been 5 months since my child has slept peacefully, he cries all the time. His stomach is swelling more and more each day and his pain? It is also increasing! Doctors say he has a chronic liver disease and only an urgent transplant can save him.” - Hussain, father

How will a labourer like me arrange 18 lakhs?

“I only had Rs 40,000 in my hand and all of it was spent in just 2 days. It was not enough so I borrowed around 3 lakhs when they said they need to do a biopsy. But I won't be able to arrange money anymore. I am just a daily wager who works on other’s farms, I have no one who can help me with the transplant..." - Hussain, father.

Hussain gets Rs 150-200 per day and that too when there is work for him. He owns no land, no assets and has no savings. His income will not be enough to save Muzzamil. The parents who were extremely happy when Muzzamil was born, were left devastated when they got to know that he won't survive without a transplant.

“When he smiled, it made my day but now... now he cries until his eyes are red and tired. He is in so much pain. Me and my husband take turns to stay awake at nights to look after him. And his elder brother, he is just 3, he doesn’t understand anything but he tries to make Mujju smile. I can’t see my child suffer like this.” - Maibuna, mother

The nearest city is 200 kms away, what if something happens to him in the middle of the night?

“All the hospitals near us refused to treat my child. Now I have to take him to the city which is 200 kms from the village. We have to travel in a train.  I fear that if something happens to him when he is in the village, what will I do. I can’t even think of staying in the city, I cannot afford it. I am so tensed, I don’t know what to say to my wife when she asks about the treatment. I feel so helpless.”- Hussain

All these parents want is a normal life for their son. He is just 1 and is going through so much pain. His life is dependent on a liver transplant and his mother is ready to donate but his father is unable to afford it.

Only an urgent liver transplant can save him and without your help this 1-year-old cannot make it. Your kind help can give this child a normal life.
