Naveen and Reema were anxious about their 5-year-old son Samson having surgery for tonsils. But now, their son is battling something far more dangerous disease. He has cancer.  Naveen and Reema just want their son alive and they are scared that they might lose him due to lack of money.



About 3 months ago, Samson who was until then a mischievous and healthy kid, fell seriously ill and was taken to the hospital. He had high fever and rashes all over his neck and body. The parents thought it could be chickenpox or an allergy. The doctor after examining him said he had some blood infection and gave some medicines.

“Things were fine for a month, his rashes had reduced. Then again after a few days, he had tonsils and was asked to undergo surgery to remove the overgrown tonsils. We were anxious about surgery and checked with the doctor if that could be avoided. Later, his blood tests results shocked us beyond repair. My son’s white blood cells had 99% blots and it meant he had blood cancer.” - Reema, mother 

Samson has been diagnosed with T Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia which is a type of blood cancer. Samson needs to undergo regular cycles of chemotherapy to have a chance of survival.  Reema hasn't had a peaceful night's sleep since she got to know of the diagnosis. She is always by Samson's side - fearing that if she leaves, something will happen to him.  

“My son is in tremendous pain. He has green and red-colored patches all over his body. They are painful and itchy. He begs to be taken home and the itching to stop. On the other hand, my 4-year-old daughter is at a relative’s place as we could not get her to stay at the hospital with us. She keeps crying as she is unable to adjust to new surroundings. It is so hard to see both my kids suffering and I feel so helpless.” – Reema, mother

Naveen works as an operator in a private company and earns RS 10,000 a month. His company staff and relatives have helped him financially in every way possible until now for his son’s treatment. However, now Naveen needs another 12 Lakh Rupees to continue the chemotherapy treatment. 

"It all happened so fast - my son is now fighting between life and death. All our happy memories seem to be so distant Now, everyday we live in the fear that we will lose Samson," - Naveen, father.

Samson cannot survive without medical supervision and regular chemotherapy. His life now depends on the funds raised and Naveen begs for your help to save his son.
