Nidasheshi/Kushtagi lake is 3kms away from Kushtagi town, Koppal DT, Karnataka.  The 320 acre lake is primary and only source of drinking water to Kushtagi town and surrounding villages.

Last few years all bore-wells in Kushtagi town dried up due to ‘low ground level water’. It’s very unfortunate that we stay very close to TB & Alamatti Dam but still having water scarcity problem. The desilting of lake helps to bring back 'lake to life' helping community, farmers, cattle’s and birds.

On 7-Feb-2019(Thu), Sri Gavimata swamiji, Koppal DC and all eminent personalities supported this initiative.

This movement received a huge support from all sections of society.

Dream foundation (Our NGO) has started raising fund and receiving money for this effort.

This is once in generation lake rejuvenation project.
