My name is Bikash. I am writing this as an appeal to save my son. He is just 5 years old. As a father, this is my last effort to save my child. Krishna is suffering from congenital dyserythropoietic anemia and he has to undergo blood transfusions every 10 days. Krishna was just 2 months when suffered from Pneumonia. During the treatment, we came to know where we came to know his platelets counts and hemoglobin was too low. Then we rushed to CMC,Vellore. The doctor then examined him for anaemia and gives some medicine and told to continue on blood transfusion every 2 months

Then we contacted Dr Mammen Chandy, Tata Medical Centre, Kolkata, there he was diagnosed as CDA and said to go for Bone Marrow transplant when the child become little older.

For the past few months, we have been getting opinions from various doctors. We went all the way to Chennai to visit the doctor in Apollo. All the doctors we met said that a bone marrow transplant is the only solution. A matched donor is required for the bone marrow transplant. 

Since then we are helpless as my son is on blood transfusion since his birth, earlier the cycle was of 2 months which now has reduced to 1 week.

The estimation given for bone marrow transplant is 20 lakhs . Over 12 lakhs for the transplant  and the rest will be for donor expenses. Fortunately, we have found a donor who is 9 out 10 match with Krishna.  Doctors are looking for a full match donor as well.  We have no option left to raise this amount. It is far above our capacity and we are desperately in need of help. Your contribution will help my son to undergo the transplant on time.
