Johanty is nothing like other babies his age. He doesn’t look at you curiously, he doesn’t try to turn or even crawl. He only cries. He is getting weaker with every passing day. Suresh and Divya are helpless and devastated watching their son suffer, fight for his life because of a liver disease. Without a transplant, they will lose him.

Little Johanty was born with jaundice but they never thought that there can be something more serious and fatal- a failing liver. By the time they got to know that his liver was failing, it was already his 4th month and his condition was very serious.
“We saw him shivering with fever which refused to subside, his eyes turned terrifyingly yellow and his stomach was as if it would burst...it still is the same. He now has severe skin infection too. As soon as we reached the hospital they said his liver was failing and he needed an operation to give him some relief but that too failed and now...now they are saying he doesn’t have much time left. “It’s been 2 months since we got to know that there is no other way but a transplant. We also want that to happen... but 18 lakhs? Where will a poor labourer like me get so much money from? Still, I tried but it only got worse for my boy. With each passing day, he's only got weaker. I am failing as a father.” - Suresh
Suresh is a daily wage labourer who works on others' farms. What he earns is enough for the family to survive but is not enough to save his child. He has already spent whatever money he had borrowed on tests and the operation.
