    This fundraiser will benefit

    Divyansh

    from New Delhi, Delhi

“For weeks I carried my sick child from one hospital to another. No doctor was able to tell us what was happening to him, they just kept prescribing us medicines. He must have taken hundreds of it but... but none of the medicines worked and his condition kept getting worse.” - Nimisha, mother

Divyansh ’s hemoglobin was dangerously down to 3 and his platelets to 6000. It was only then that his underlying disease was diagnosed. This little boy suffers from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia, a type of blood cancer.

I almost lost him once and I can't see him like that again

“It all began with small lumps at the back of his right ear. We went to so many local doctors in Meerut. He had a constantly high fever and his skin turned pale. We brought him to a bigger hospital in Gurugram last week. If that day we were late by even a few minutes we would have lost our child, it was that severe. But cancer... we just didn’t expect that. It is killing my only child and I am terrified. He is just a 3-year-old baby.” - Nimisha

Needles and nurses make him cry, he is terrified to visit the hospital

“He used to be such an active and talkative child. He loved playing and running around the house but now… now he just lies on the bed all day and does nothing. He has become so silent that it scares me. When we have to visit the hospital for tests and check-up he ends up in tears, crying so much that it breaks my heart, he is so afraid of needles and nurses.” - Nimisha

Divyansh needs to start chemotherapy at the earliest. It is the only thing that can save his life from this painful disease but Ashish, his father, has already exhausted all the money he had so far. All he has now is a few hundred rupees and the treatment will cost him 12 lakh rupees.

There is a cure but they are unable to afford it

“Each time we visited a doctor, the tests and medicines would cost us some thousand- two thousand rupees. I spent every penny I had, I don’t know what to do anymore. Where will I get 12 lakh rupees for the treatment? How will I?...”- Ashish, unable to continue

Ashish works at a small shop in Meerut. He earns just enough to afford the basic necessities but now because of Divyansh’s treatment in Gurugram, he is unable to even earn that little. He is completely helpless with no source of income left.

They can’t go home, they can’t stay, they are desperate to save their baby. You are their only hope. Your contributions can help Ashish and Nimisha save their son’s life. Your help can end Divyansh’s pain.
