His life is threatened by Multiple Organ Failure
Swati’s baby boy was prematurely born in 30 weeks, due to which the child suffers from very low birth weight. He suffers from inflammation in the lung causing respiratory distress and his life is threatened by sepsis that can damage multiple organ systems. The family ran from pillar to post and managed to keep him alive for almost 8 weeks but now when the child is almost cured, they struggle to continue the treatment. Few more weeks in the ICU can save his life.

Kamal works as a helper in a medical store and with his income, there is hardly anything left by the end of the month to save or even buy something nice for his family. The couple has to plan for months even to buy a piece of cloth. To afford their child’s treatment, they took loans and borrowed from friends and family but now they have no source or means left.
