Akshita is a 9-year-old girl child with "PURE RED CELL APLASIA" which is a uncommon medical disorder.
At the age of 6 months her parents rushed to hospital when she fainted all of a sudden due to anemic disorder and later she was diagnosed with "PURE RED CELL APLASIA".
She has been on regular blood transfusion from early infancy and every month she needs 1 unit of B+ve blood for her survival.
Akshita needs Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT) to survive this disease and after a long search, a matching donor is found and the Bone Marrow Transplantation would cost Rs 25,00,000 (25 Lakh Rupees) for this procedure.
Akshita's father works in a small Bus body building company at Karur and he cannot bear this high treatment expenses on his own.
The entire family is dependent on his meagre income for their day-to-day expenses.
