This Doctor Is Now Fighting Ovarian Cancer And Needs Your Support

When the word “Cancer" knocks in your life, your world changes from that same moment. It has been a nightmare for my family. We experienced sleepless nights to fight the disease and with agony of the disease and of course for the uncertain future .

I, Shampa Saha am  42 year old , mother of a bright boy have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer in July -2017. It is not one tumor rather collection of tumors spread in whole abdomen and have been metastasized to lungs with stage 4A, high grade serous carcinoma and aggressive in nature .
Doctors have advised me to undergo debulking surgery (with removal of several organs) preceded and followed by 6 round of chemotherapy.  My family was hopeful to fight and recover from this deadly disease.
But yet another shock! Doctors failed to operate the tumors on the first surgery attempted on 28th August 2017. This time the situation is even worse! Quickly, the disease was spreading all over the body with post-operative complication. Doctor's advised to have chemo as soon as possible. I had to stay in ICU for 10 days. Still I was not getting ready for Chemotherapy due to some complications. On 9th September 2017, doctor team resolved to give chemotherapy dose after blood transfusion with great risk.
Probably, Well-wisher’s prayer was heard by Almighty God. I responded well with initial chemos. My surgery is again scheduled on end of  November 2017, which requires still about another 8- 9 lakhs.
Unfortunately, my family  does not even have medical insurance to take care of any expenses.  Also my father and mother-in-law were suffering from cancer . All the savings were exhausted for their treatment and for my initial Chemos and 1st attempt for surgery (including several rounds of hospitalization) .

Cancer not only harm mentally but also financially as well . So I request all the well-wishers to raise funds to fight against cancer and get me back to "LIFE".

Currently my treatment is going on TATA Medical Center, Kolkata . All the supporting Documents are attached below.
