My name is Dr. Neerja Gupta, a breast surgeon, and I am here to raise funds for Harsh. Harsh's mothers name is Babita and she is a maid in a private school. His father's name is Govind Kumar and he is a taxi driver. Babita also works at my friend's house as domestic help, and that is how I know her. Harsh,  is a 9th class student in Modern School, Vaishali Sector 1, Uttar Pradesh.

A child is a gift to the family and society. When a family is blessed with a child, the happiness and joy takes an entry into our lives. Imagine the trauma of the mother and family when they are denied this blessing. The unending hospital visits and the hope make them persist to their efforts. And then comes the day if light, the day they always remember like a tender ray of sunshine. But it so happens that we are not able to give adequate opportunity to these young saplings.

The economic conditions prevent so many little ones to take leaps in the sky, to prove their worth to the society. Are we so economically weak that we can’t extend our help to these kids? The innocence of these kids is like prayers. Its just we need to shake up our inner conscience to identify the right and wrong and we will have the answers to all our doubts.

Harsh aspires to scale heights in his life and wants to put his efforts towards shaping his future. Let us extend our help to him, because each penny counts, and that will not make us poor rather give the content of doing a real selfless help in this money minded era.
