Jonah’s life demonstrates ‘what human abandons, God adopts’. A compelling story of CURE India instills hope and brings joy to families with children born with clubfoot.

 Jonah’s battle for life commenced in his mother’s womb. His parents lacked all resources to give him birth. However, a couple willing to adopt the newborn baby, unfortunately declined, as Noah was born with clubfoot deformity. His biological parents, immediately gave him away to the Social Welfare Agency in their district. By now Noah, just a few hours old, has already embraced rejection and discrimination.

 Later, Jonah was brought to Wondang-ki Orphanage Home & Adoption Centre in Nagaland where hope and numerous other orphans welcomed him with love. It is here that the dedication and care he received was a sweet embalming experience. The orphanage staff soon began Jonah’s treatment at a private hospital with little knowledge about clubfoot. Soon they heard about CURE’s program, and one month old Jonah was enrolled for treatment. 

 Today, a couple is adopting him and he has a new home and care of a loving family. They have given him a new name - Ayitsho Jonah Sono.
